Fred Thompson, character actor, dropped his bid for the Republican Presidential nomination today.
Good riddance to a sad, tired, sloppy, lackluster, bored and boring candidate. Thompson said recently that he wanted to be President, but didn’t have any enthusiasm or energy for campaigning. Uh, I dunno, I kinda thought that clowning around was a Republican requirement for running for President and the bar got raised once elected.
